Sevenling (Winter raindrops dance)

Form Challenge from Poetic Asides: write a sevenling

Winter raindrops dance outside,
tinseled snowflakes waltz and twirl
with tintinnabulating sleet –

Clouds hide the dawn; bruising cold
and breathtaking wind eclipse the calendar
in announcing a snowglobe winter –

Christmas is almost here.

  2. Lovely little poem, I like the way you've described the little signs of winter season, especially tinseled snowflakes waltz ... makes the cold almost bearable if you see the snowflakes through your eyes.
